umm, proportions aside (my biggest weak point) i've gotten a pretty good simple value system down pat with these markers. fine in the core shadow with %50, base/reflective/whatever shadow 30% , punch in the darkest darks with 70%

also whats cool about grayscale markers is after ive scanned it in, i could use overlay/multiply layers to add the color and the values show through, wheee
