aghhh, i have so much trouble drawing still life things. it's not like a figure where it's a gesture... do you plot points and measure them? must keep practicing...
Just takes practice. Personally I draw out the whole thing simplistically to get a feel for proportions then refine it to the degree of what I'm trying to learn or achieve.
