scribbles and scrabbles

hello world!! lately i've been trying to get back into the groove of drawing constantly. i am very rusty. before i go on though, i'd like to mention the 24 Hour Toons challenge! it's like 24 hour comics... but little flash videos instead. i think i may give it a go sometime, let me know if any of you do too!

so i have this friend marcia who has a totally kick ass sketchbook and the same love for good stories and characters as i and i think you guys should definitely check her out. in a not lecherous way. we like to draw funny comments on tegakie together. funny may be subjective but i think we can all appreciate a good mom joke or two sometimes.

on that note, im trying to practice storyboarding to an extent. here are some sketches. the scribbly boxes, well let me explain those... i keep paper by me whenever i nap because it seems thats when i get ideas for stories, layouts, etc. i think its important to remember that when you're just brainstorming, stuff doesnt have to look finalized in the slightest or it may throw off your creative process
